Devartes began with a passion for creativity, design, and the endless possibilities of technology. Today, that passion has evolved into an independent software development company creating mobile applications and games designed to inspire, entertain, and enhance everyday experiences.
The story behind the studio
My name is Ivan de Bruyn, and my journey began around 20 years ago, after completing my studies in graphic design. What started with a foundation in visual creativity gradually grew into a deeper fascination with software, interactive experiences, and game development.
Over the years, design became more than something to look at — it became something to interact with, explore, and experience. That evolution ultimately led to Devartes: an independent studio built on the belief that great software should do more than work well.
It should be thoughtfully designed, enjoyable to use, respectful of its users, and created with a clear purpose. Today, Devartes focuses on developing mobile applications and games across multiple fields, combining creative design with practical functionality and engaging experiences.
